Faculty Professional Development CyberWatch provides professional development opportunities for IA faculty at Cyberwatch member institutions in three ways: 1) CyberWatch Workshops, 2) CyberWatch-sponsored attendance at workshops conducted by others, and 3) the Cyberwatch Faculty Graduate Program.
CyberWatch Workshops CyberWatch conducts a number of training courses, workshops, and seminars for faculty throughout the year. These include such things as the Ethical Hacking, Secure Programming, Digital Forensics, and the Certified Information Systems Security Professional Exam Preparation Course. You can find Upcoming CyberWatch Workshops by clicking the Events Calendar on the right side of the webpage. On a space-available basis, CyberWatch partners and Advisory Board members are also able to attend CyberWatch Workshops. The CyberWatch Project Coordinator handles registrations for these workshops. In summer 2010, CyberWatch introduced its Second Life Island as a new delivery mechanism for CyberWatch Professional Development Workshops.
Non-CyberWatch Workshops CyberWatch subsidizes attendance at various trainings offered by other organizations. Such training opportunities can also be found in the Events Calendar on the right. Again, the CyberWatch Project Coordinator handles registrations for these workshops.
