CyberWATCH is committed to building the regional capacity of highly qualified faculty at member institutions by encouraging faculty to pursue graduate studies in Information Security/Information Assurance. Four CyberWATCH university partners: Capitol College, George Mason University (GMU), Towson University, and University of Maryland University College (UMUC) offer graduate Information Security/Information Assurance programs.

CyberWATCH will sponsor up to fifteen faculty in completing the graduate certificate at one of the partner institutions. CyberWATCH will support the difference between the amount that the home institution provides faculty for the graduate courses, and the tuition fee, up to a total of $500/credit hour. Faculty may also consider programs at other CyberWATCH university partners, such as George Washington University and the Johns Hopkins University.
